The MacRuby team just released MacRuby 0.5 beta 1 with a lot of improvement and features. After downloading the beta, go play with one of the first MacRuby specific gems and imagine what kind of new projects you will soon be able tow ork on.

The main reason I own a Macbook Pro is because Ruby sucks on Windows. I hope Apple is considering MacRuby for the iPhone too.

They’re planning on AOT (compiled ruby) for releasing to the iPhone, but I believe that’s in some unspecified amount of time.
