NestedHasManyThrough Rails 3.x gem has been released

This gem makes it possible to define has_many :through relationships that go through other has_many :through relationships, possibly through an arbitrarily deep hierarchy. I have just made the gem and applied patches for better Rails 3.x support

very interesting! now we should test that with this gem included all AR3 tests pass :).

This looks like a handy stopgap solution until the official support for nested HM:T hits in Rails 3.1.

Not to rain on anyone’s parade, but DataMapper has had this functionality for some time now. You can use DataMapper with Rails 3 via dm-rails.
