For DietRB, I’m looking for input from users on what IRB extensions they use on a daily basis, so I can start investigating what is really used and what I should support.

Leave comments here, or reply on twitter. And while you’re at it, please retweet :)
Miso, the unified API for simple image operations commonly used on the web, has gained a GraphicsMagick processor in version 0.3. Thanks to Paul Vaillant for the contribution.
I just released version 2.2.0 of Kicker, which now has a generic Ruby tests recipe and a more advanced Rails test recipe. Both should be usable with test-unit tests and specs.

Recipes can now add options as well, which the Ruby recipe uses to specify the command to use for the Ruby/Rails tests. Eg: kicker -b ruby19.

Furthermore, logging the results of an executed command is now customizable, based on ideas of Mustache's .kick file.

And finally, besides many fixes, a few options were added to control the level of output.
The title says it all; please leave a comment if you are using Rails 3 on any real projects, or still Rails 2.3? And possibly, why.
After a few months of building and collecting recipes we use on our development machines, I have now finally released Kicker 2. It comes with recipes for rails and javascript testing, and best of all, it's still usable for absolutely anything besides testing. The gem is now hosted on http://gemcutter.org, which was a breeze to use. Now start writing them recipes and send me pull requests! :)
The Passenger preference pane v1.3 for 10.5 and 10.6 users was just released! Spread the word! Oh, and watch the repo! KTHXBAI :)
On the 15th of May we organized the Ruby on OS X conference in Amsterdam, which, as the name indicates, focussed on building Ruby applications on Mac OS X. As of today all talks are available in either 720p HD or a lower resolution iPhone compatible M4V. http://www.fngtps.com/2009/06/ruby-on-os-x-conference-videos - Enjoy!
We recently released version 1.2 of the Passenger preference pane for OS X - now includes Rack support!
