Videos from RubyKaigi 2010, the main Ruby conference in Japan, are now available on Vimeo. RubyKaigi 2010 was held over three days from August 27-29, 2010 in Tsukuba, Japan.

The talks at RubyKaigi 2010 had a mix up Japanese and English language speakers, including Yukihiro "Matz" Matsumoto, Chad Fowler, Yugui and the Ruby Core team, Yehuda Katz, and many more.
RubyKaigi 2010 —August 27th through 29th, 2010 @ Tsukuba International Congress Center, Tsukuba, Japan — is now open for registration.

RubyKaigi is the premiere Ruby Conference in Japan, held annually and hosting a mix of Japanese and English talks. In 2010, mini-conferences, workshops and other sub-events will be run in parallel, including JRubyKaigi, emacs/vim/origami workshops, and more.

RubyKaigi 2010 is open for talk proposals until April 28th. Talks on any topic related to Ruby are welcome: RubyKaigi 2010 Call for Presentation Proposals. RubyKaigi 2010 is also seeking "sub-event" organizers: RubyKaigi 2010 Call for Sub-Event Proposals.

The call for proposals for RubyKaigi 2009 has been extended to Thursday, March 26th. (Also announced on ruby-talk) - If you're interested in presenting on any topic related to ruby to a receptive audience in Japan, please submit the title and a summary of your talk to 2009@rubykaigi,org, along with your name and contact details. Talks may be in English or Japanese (perhaps both?), and Ruby.
Only a few days left until the RubyKaigi 2009 call for presentation proposals close on Sunday, March 15th. This year, RubyKaigi is making the jump from single track to multi-track, so we are also open to multiple presentation proposal (which is handy if you can't decide on a single topic). Follow the instructions and send in your proposals to "2009 AT rubykaigi.org".
