If you need a calendar helper plugin with i18n support, you might want to check out LaterDude. LaterDude is heavily inspired by Jeremy Voorhis’/Geoffrey Grosenbach’s popular calendar_helper plugin and can - with a few small adjustments - be used as a drop-in replacement.
