Um…why…exactly? Lua inside of C I can understand…or Lua inside of Java maybe. But Lua inside of Ruby? It’s like asking someone to embedding American English inside of the Queen’s English because it’s easier to speak. I see no benefit of Lua over Ruby in this regard.

wtf : you limit your analysis to expressivity, then, within this constrained box, why haven’t you thought about embedding C inside of Lua ? Have you thought about other aspects ? Like, speed, libraries, and simply fun and exploration ?
