Where is AnonymousCritic? I thought AnonymousCritic would have something snide or at least blunt to say about the whole forking thing (see what I did there).

Ha! Thanks AnonymousWoodDuck for bringing me out of the woodwork. I honestly don’t know at this point if this is a good or bad idea. I think it is good that it is forcing the issue and making people take action to clean up the problems in 1.8.x. The bad could be that the two project never merge and cause a fracture in the community which would be bad. I hopefully everyone plays nicely together and works it out for the benefit of the community.
