hey look …this is very large xml I have, I guess it has these elements inside, let me know if you find any one of these elements …. here it is…

Shame about the spam. You may be interest in https://github.com/shanna/xml-sax-machines/blob/master/lib/xml-sax-machines/fragment_builder.rb it builds a DocumentFragment from an XPATH match using the SAX interface in Nokogiri. Kinda of the best of both worlds. I haven’t used it in a long time but it should still work.
