Introducing Deimos: Using Kafka as the Data Backbone for your architecture

Deimos has been used in-house at Flipp for about two years as a way of marrying messaging (Kafka), data schemas and encoding (Avro), and databases (ActiveRecord). We use this as a way to unlock data living in databases to be part of a “data backbone” which powers our microservices architecture. We’re excited about making it even better - would love to hear feedback!
