I don’t agree with your analysis of Yoel’s post. His post is flawed because he doesn’t understand how recruiters post jobs for both Java and node.js devs. No one seeks out Spring MVC in job postings instead of just Spring. Excluding that skews the results. Like Java positions, most nodejs positions aren’t going to advertise express, which makes sense because most nodejs frameworks are based on express and the majority of nodejs devs still use express. That said, as a rails dev I agree that Ruby and Rails aren’t going away anytime soon.
