This year Rubyconf Brasil Call for Proposals is up. The conference will be on August 29-30. Venus is Frei Caneca Theater in São Paulo, Brazil. The CFP will be open until at least mid-May. It's going to be 2 full days with 2 parallel tracks and more than 30 talks, with audio real time translations for English-Portuguese and vice-versa. Hurry up. Only around 30 speakers will be selected!
I just launched an article about my initial taste of Rails 3.1 upgrading my blog. There were a few gotchas but overall a less difficult operation than I expected.
You may have heard about Rails Summit, the largest Rails conference in Latin America. It has evolved into RubyConf Latin America. Registrations will open in August, but the event is confirmed for October 26 and 27. Book flight reservations already :-) And we also opened a Call for Proposals, so if you want to speak please send your proposals. This is a great opportunity for you to get to know Brazil.
